The film was funded by the Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme through the National Film and Video Foundation, with the aim of stimulating the film industry in underserved areas such as the Free State. The other aim was to give emerging film makers from these areas practical experience on working on a film production.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Anton Fisher is the writer and producer of the short fiction film Address Unknown, which won the Best Short Film award at the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) in 2021.
Mpendulo Troy Myeni received a red carpet welcome at the “iamAFRICA Short Film Competition” at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2019 for his short film, EYELASH.
Mbuyiselo Nqodi is a Bloemfontein-based playwright, actor and arts activist.
The lead actress Napo Masheane is an internationally acclaimed stage performer, writer and poet. She grew up in Qwaqwa in the Eastern Free State and is a regular on the international circuit.
