Poppehuisietjie is a play focusing on one of our country’s current issues, namely Gender Based Violence. The play gives a refreshing angle to the concept as it explores the issue from the perpetrators’ perspective. This is a story of a young boy and his journey into adult themes such as love, lust and romance.

Poppehuisietjie first performance was last year during the pandemic were we did it digitally and invited thespians to give their view of the show.
We recently went on a two week provincial tour with the production with three performances a day.
